In Ephesians, we read of Paul’s desire that the eyes of our hearts be enlightened. What is it to see with the Father’s heart? What can it look like to partner with the Holy Spirit in the arts?

During the day-long workshop, “Eyes of the Heart,” we’ll blend encounter, lecture, hands-on participation, and outreach as we adventure in the prophetic arts. We’ll examine the scriptural basis for this art form, understand the prophetic as it combines with the arts, see how artists throughout history have been prophetic, hear of contemporary practitioners and their stories, get activated in Kingdom creativity, and get the prophetic arts into our community.

This workshop is not just for those who consider themselves artists. It’s all about Presence, not performance. From stick figures to photo realism, prophetic art not only strengthens, encourages, and comforts; wait ’til you hear testimonies of salvation and healings resulting from Holy-Spirit inspired art encounters.

And whether you work in the nursery, the nursing home, or anywhere in between, this workshop will give you tools to draw out–literally and figuratively–the best in people.

Creativity is embedded within us; we were fashioned in the image of our Creator. We have a beautiful opportunity to reveal that destiny and identity to others. You’ll discover that as you continue to hear God’s voice in your creative practice, you can transform lives, including your own.

Let’s see what the Father wants to do. Let’s open the eyes of our hearts.

  1. Excellent. Can’t wait. Will help promote with my Creative Call group and beyond. XO

  2. Your workshop in Medford, Oregon was excellent. I enjoyed having my creative and intellectual energies stimulated.

My prophetic outreach was quietly profound. The Holy Spirit directed me to create art for a “woman, 40, tired, turquoise”. I created a 12×24 acrylic on canvas piece in shades of turquoise with just a hint of gold above the hillside shapes that represented a woman’s body in repose. I felt led to Providence Hospital. I wish I could share all the details here – such fun!

In bried, at 12:20, I was pulling into the parking lot. By 12:29, I was pulling out. No one was around except the receptionist. She was 40 and “I’ve been saying all day, ‘I’m tired, I’m just SO tired…’”. The color turquoise had “deep meaning” for her. I prayed with her, encouraged her, shared that the Good Shepherd was saying, “let Me carry you through this.” We parted with smiles, hugs, laughter and amazement at how tender and thoughtful God is. She took my phone number and she had all the details of how the painting was conceived and created on the back – which included the words to an old hymn that came to me as I was painting: “There is a place of quiet rest, near to the heart of God. A place where sin cannot molest, near to the heart of God.”

God showed up lovingly, caringly, simply, sweetly and quickly that day.

Thank you, Anna. The workshop is perfectly constructed and presented.

  3. I was gratified to see how many different kinds of people drew together for this time together, and everyone got some blessings from God that they could share with each other and with those outside the church walls. Every artistic style was different, too, but each one was valued. We came away each feeling more valued than ever, and happy that God had used us in unique ways. He loves that we are so diverse, and wants us to enjoy that, too.
Anna was in every way both ptofessional and very warm and encouraging. Her testimonies of how she had seen God work through artistic expressions, and the testimonies of those present were precious and life-giving.
    Thank you.
